Slide Glide Door

The Bode Slide Glide door systems for transit and Shuttle Buses are automatic doors systems which have been proven valuable for transit service world wide. These doors are used on Street Cars, Transit Buses and Shuttle Buses in almost all countries in the world. The Heart of the Bode system is the pre-assembled, single cylinder drive plate which contains the drive cylinder, control valves, safety switches and interface connections necessary to operate and control the two door panels. The drive/door system can contain sensitive edges, opening obstruction sensing, or reduced pressure/low force operation as automatic safety systems.

The Slide Glide Door is ideally suited for the entrance and exit doors of transit Buses and Shuttle Buses which operate in crowded service areas. The slide Glide Door System can be designed to operate with minimal extension of the panels past the bus sidewall.

The door panels are made of anodized aluminum extrusion, machined to interlock and therefore to create a seamless outer finish, enhanced by the whole length window glass.
